After an intense fire and extensive water damage all but destroyed the main office of the local cleaning franchise his late Grandfather had started in 1978, Will Lamb was inspired by his family’s tragedy to relocate his wife and infant daughter to Maryland to help put the family business back together. 

The process was long and arduous; seeing what this well established company had to endure, he always wondered if this tragedy had happened to a younger enterprise if they could have prevailed.
With that experience driving him, for several years Will Lamb was the Operations Manager and Field Supervisor/ Estimator of restoration activities for his family’s franchise.  Being a firm believer in the value of education, he pursued several certifications and currently holds the prestigious designation of being one of the privileged few to hold all three IICRC Master Certification designations.  He also had extensive training in other aspects of restoration: safety and business. 
As he attended various classes, industry meetings and seminars he saw a niche in the restoration industry that he could assist in filling.  Combining the desire for helping people with his desire to aid other restoration companies and the insurance industry, he created AmRestore to serve them all.

His wife Megan Lamb, also being a teacher in Anne Arundel County saw an opportunity to help the public as well.  When the spread of Staph (MRSA) infections in the county’s schools increased, they knew they could make a positive difference in the health of the community with proper cleaning. The same equipment and process AmRestore uses for restoration is also used for sports and equipment decontamination and deodorization insuring the safety of public servants, athletes, students, and staff.

Out of this need, and with the help of countless others, AmRestore was created to aid where it was needed most.  AmRestore’s goal is to help the community, restoration companies, insurance professionals, and general industry or institutional organizations when they need us the most.
