In a fire or water disaster, mitigation, or containing the emergency, is normally the first step. Mitigation is then followed by drying where water is involved, specialized cleaning of both building components and contents, and finally reconstruction as needed. AmRestore will partner with the mitigation and reconstruction contractor to make the job flow more efficiently with the immediate processing of the contents. We strongly believe these contents should be restored off-premises. This greatly reduces the risk of secondary damage; cross-contamination and generally it can get in the way of the mitigation and reconstruction contractors’ efforts. We can then inspect and process the contents safely in our 8000 square foot facility utilizing the proper process under controlled conditions to ensure their return to “pre-loss” condition, then stored and returned in conjunction with the completion of the reconstruction.
The process for remediation of mold contamination is similar. The contractor will provide mitigation services to solve the issue that is causing the problem, and then specialized cleaning of the affected areas as needed. In a time of crisis people desire solutions to return conditions to normal as quickly as possible. AmRestore’s ability to quickly work in unison with the mitigation and restoration contractors’ schedule and scope makes it a seamless process. With our uniquely trained technicians, we will partner with these firms to give the best possible result with the highest quality. As they finish the reconstruction process, the contents will be “packed-back” just as they are finishing the project. It will be a streamlined process, no more waiting for one after the other!
